Mining & resources labour hire in NSW
Shutdown and maintenance crews for mines and processing plants from Cadia to the Hunter Valley. Site inductions, medicals and fitness-for-work handled before the bus leaves Sydney.
The operating reality
Shutdowns planned to the hour
A mine shutdown is planned months ahead and executed by the hour. Crushers, mills, conveyors, screens, thickeners, flotation cells and the electrical infrastructure behind them all come down together, and every crew on the plan has to arrive inducted, medically cleared, fit for work and knowing exactly which permit they are on. Twelve-hour shifts, drive-in drive-out rosters, camp accommodation and a fitness-for-work program that does not negotiate.
Our team has provided ongoing support during maintenance shutdowns at Cadia, assisting with electrical and mechanical tasks, and we supply crews across the Hunter Valley, the Illawarra and the quarries and processing plants closer to Sydney. We know that a worker who fails site induction on day one costs you a seat on the plan, so we do the preparation before they travel.
- Shutdown crews: fitters, boilermakers, electricians, riggers and TAs with a supervisor, mobilised as one.
- Maintenance cover: trades on roster for leave and vacancy cover at mine and plant sites.
- Projects: plant upgrades, conveyor extensions and electrical installs between shutdowns.

Questions
Mining labour hire FAQs
Do you supply DIDO and FIFO crews?
Yes. Most of our regional work is drive-in drive-out from Sydney to Cadia, the Hunter and the Illawarra, on rosters set by your shutdown plan. Fly-in arrangements can be made for sites that need them.
Who covers travel and accommodation?
It is agreed in the terms before anyone travels, along with roster conditions and allowances. We do not leave those details to be sorted out on site.
Are your workers inducted for my specific mine?
Our own safety induction always comes first. Your site induction is booked into the mobilisation plan, and we check that every worker holds the medicals, tickets and identification your gatehouse will ask for.
Can you arrange Order 43 medicals for coal sites?
Yes. For NSW coal mines we arrange Coal Services Order 43 health assessments as part of mobilisation, alongside the pre-employment medical every worker completes with us.
Can you supply a complete shutdown crew?
Yes. Fitters, boilermakers, electricians, riggers, trade assistants and a supervisor, mobilised together with one set of profiles and one invoice. Brief us early; shutdown crews are built, not found.
Do you cover the Hunter and the Illawarra as well as Cadia?
Yes. Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, Wollongong and the Illawarra, and processing plants and quarries closer to Sydney are all within our regular range.
