Logistics & warehousing labour hire in Sydney

Trades for the distribution centres, intermodal terminals and ports that keep Sydney's freight moving. Conveyors, sortation, docks and plant, maintained around the peak, not instead of it.

The operating reality

Peak does not wait for the fitter

The distribution centres along the M7 and M4, at Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Kemps Creek and Marsden Park, the intermodal terminal at Moorebank and the container terminals at Port Botany all run on the same rule: throughput. Automated sortation, kilometres of conveyor, dock levellers, racking, forklifts and order pickers, cold rooms and the electrical and control systems behind them. When a sorter stops in the October to December peak, the cost is measured in trucks waiting at the dock.

We supply electricians, fitters, welders and trade assistants who have worked in that environment: conveyor and sortation maintenance, dock equipment, racking repairs, MHE support and the installs and relocations that happen when a DC is fitted out or reconfigured. They know the traffic management rules of a live warehouse floor and how to work at height over a running conveyor safely.

  • Conveyors and sortation: rollers, belts, drives, sensors, VSDs and controls, kept running.
  • Dock and racking: dock levellers, doors, guard rails and racking repairs and installs.
  • Fit-outs and relocations: trades for new DCs, mezzanines and system installs.

Questions

Logistics labour hire FAQs

Do your tradespeople have conveyor and sortation experience?

Yes. Conveyor mechanics, drives, sensors and controls are a core part of what our electricians and fitters do, and we test isolation and conveyor safety in the trade test. Tell us the system brand and we will match people who have worked on it where we can.

Can you cover peak season?

Yes. The October to December peak is when DCs most need maintenance cover they can rely on. Brief us before peak and we will line up tradespeople and TAs for the roster, with the same people returning week to week wherever possible.

Do your TAs hold forklift and order picker licences?

Many do: LF and LO High Risk Work Licences verified against the register, with a site VOC where your DC requires one. Tell us what plant the role involves.

Can they work at height over running conveyors?

Only once the system is isolated, which is how our workers are trained to think. EWP and Working at Heights tickets are verified, and your isolation and permit procedure is briefed before day one.

Can you repair racking?

We supply welders and boilermakers for racking protection, guard rails and structural repairs carried out in line with the racking supplier's requirements and your engineer's instructions. Damaged uprights are a structural matter, and we treat them that way.

Do you supply to Port Botany and other secure terminals?

Yes. Workers for secure port areas hold or obtain Maritime Security Identification Cards. Background checks take time, so for terminal work brief us as early as you can.
